This is not a Velox. This is a Vauxhall Wyvern L of 1950/51. Wyvern because of body-coloured wheels (Velox had creme-coloured) and missing overriders on front bumper. 1950/51 because of bigger headlamps and indicators. So to 100%: Vauxhall Wyvern L of 1950/51. |

We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided VAUXHALL UNKNOWN 1949 Registration number: JSJ 369 Body type: Saloon Colour: Black Date of first registration: September 1949 ... which makes it one of the first with front sidelights (introduced Sept 49). JSJ plate is a modern re-reg issue, GCO was Plymouth Dec 50 to June 51, so its original plate is unknown. |
