They are both 1962 or later...

Blue one seems 1962-1963 indeed. The ivory Beetle is 1965+.

Rather 1964 only. ;) It seems to have the old wheels and the small trunklid-nose, but still the bigger side windows.

Ah, thanks for the helpful list.

As a little nitpicking I have to add, that (maybe?) some were assembled for a short time in the former NSU-factory in Neckarsulm, too. In the 70ies, when the NSU-range was dropped out. I've heard that from former NSU-workers, who had been -resp.still are- very angry about being annexed by the biggest enemy. And assembling the most hated car, was terrible for them.

I think, I told the anecdote before, of the 125th anniversary-party of NSU in 1998. When I rolled with my K 70 (by fans a fully accepted NSU) on the ground, four 70+aged gentlemen, former NSU-workers, were shouting really upset to me: "Demolish the fucking VW-logo from that car! VW has stolen our baby! We want our baby back!" :D

130rapid, in Argentina are assembled a VW Beetle in 1957. Read this:
"En 1957 y durante un plazo muy breve, se fabrican en San Justo los camiones medianos Krupp y unas pocas unidades del Volkswagen escarabajo. Una verdadera premonición de lo que ocurriría casi 30 años después".

It seems very limited and shortly.

And what is the problem? does not matter whether or not to be taken into account?

Gomselmash11

130rapid, in Argentina were times (1950's, 60's, 70's) where they could not even import cars, domestic cars were sold only as they were with a huge burden of taxes which made it impossible. I guess it was one of the reasons that.

I add Argentina few minutes before your "And what is the problem?" :sun:
End of assembling date is main difficulty.

:king: Yes, if the ending is complicated, do not think there's been more than one or two years, also, I'm not sure he had seen one. I guess it was the 1200 VW that was assembled here.

So it's an incredible lucky catch, the Argentinian K 70 sales brochure. :king:

Yes, it was around then, before the Audi-production was established.

P.S.: "Käfer" ;)
"Kaffer" is a bad, unwelcome word in the German language. It came up before WWI in the African Colonies (Deutsch Südwestafrika, Deutsch Ostfrika and Togo) for black people. So in the same meaning as "Nigger" in English.

In this topic, maybe you might be helpfull. Is there a bad word in German, which starts with something like "ferdoop"? Sorry, I don't know how to write this - I tried phonetically, so maybe you will gues what I mean. I've heard it is really one of the worst, but don't know what does it mean (sorry again if something really vulgar xD ). Belive or don't, but it is a bit important to me, seems I made once a small faux pas because of this word...

 Beats me! Sorry, right now I don't have any idea... Not this, or? http://www.dict.cc/?s=fotze

@Gomselmash: you are correct, it's indeed based on this Arabian word for non-moslems.

The term, which the natives of New Caledonia are using for theirselves (basic on a Hawaiian word), we use as a rude abusive word for Turkish, Lebanese, Moroccan and other southern immigrants: Kanake
