Parked across the street I see a 1967-1968 Chevrolet Camaro and a 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar. |

I have a couple other pictures from the next few episodes that I am working on. The show had several background cars that pop-up in many episodes, this is one of them (the 1970 Cougar is another). |

DL or GL... i don't think there's a way to tell from this angle. 1976+ perhaps, based on the quad headlights ~ i don't know these very well. 4WD. play the odds..? i'd bet on GL. |

Is it a car that is here left of this side for previous? It is Subaru Leone. It is a founder model after the minor change in 1977. Because the estate wagon of four light headlight was not sold in Japan, is this an export specification or the remodeled one? |

Export version, as it's filmed in the USA. |

Subarus of this era were confusing. The quad headlights appeared around the 1978 model year in America (according to wiki Subaru was updated in April 1977, but I do not know when these changes hit the US). The dual headlight models got corner wrap-around parking lights/turn signals at the same time. The DL sedans and DL/FE Coupes had the dual headlamps. The GF hardtop got the quads. The wagons and BRATS got both. It looks like DL Front-Wheel Drive models got the dual and 4-Wheel Drive got the Quads. Thank you for the comment. Indeed, the estate wagon of the export specification had four light headlight. It is necessary to have sold only two light headlight in Japan. However, the fog lamp was installed in 4WD by the standard. Though it is a superfluity. There was the one of four light headlight in the sedan in Japan. Was this exported?
