1987 to 1991 Ford F-350 2wd with ambulance prep package. This era of truck should have the engine type i.e. "DIESEL" or "EFI" under the drivers head lamp but this truck doesn't have it.

Maybe it's a gas '87 specifically, since the V8s didn't get efi until 1988. Or they took the badges off...

I agree with owlman. My guess that they have removed the badges to attempted to make it non-descripted vehicle...

By the way, it is a diesel engine due to the size of the exhaust system...

Without a doubt, a prop-shop job. We don't have any EMT units in Miami with this scheme, and none based on Ford F-series vehicles either. Most subcontracted ambulances in town are Ford E-series based.

I don't think that was ever really in question. There are no EMT units that are left in use in the US which are this old, at least not in "front-line" use.

Good point - though there are a few subcontract units in town with older units; all Econoline based.
