It wouldn't surprise me. In 1964 I remember some Tatra 138s working on the Rotterdam Metro construction and the Delta works, replacing an assortment of re-engined GMC 6x6s and the like. Remember, Eastern Bloc exports at that time were heavily subsidised. |

Oh yes, I do remember Tatra trucks driving around, here. I always liked them because of their nice rounded houd and the comic position of the rear wheels (due to the swing axles). I think we also had some small Framo trucks and of course many cars. Shortly after the war the Czech Aero Minor was the best selling car in Holland... and in there were many Škodas, Wartburgs Trabants, IFAs, EMWs etc. But I don't think we had the IFA trucks, though. |

Oh well, there you go: they bought it cheap, aerosoled Verkade on the tilt and ditched it. Didn't even bother to put plates on it |
