This is funny to me because its very similar to the car bought by Tuddy Cicero for his wife after the Idlewild heist in GOODFELLAS, and in which they were later killed. |

It is more likely a 1984 DeVille or 1985 fleetwood, since that's about the time the episode took place and i'm pretty certain it was supposed to be a new car. the car in goodfellas was a coupe and it was a 77-79 model. the simpsons 'car' is an 80-89 model deville/fleetwood. |

The Goodfellas Cadillac was a '79 Coupe Deville, and was bought by "Johnny Roast Beef". can anybody tell me what season or anything of the simpsons had that car? |

77-79 and 80-92 share some interior parts and the frame, but the bodywork is different |

To me, this is just a cartoon Cadillac. In my opinion It has no place on this Web site. |

If that episode is from season 5, it's got to be made in 1994, because that the car can't be new |

Even in movies the cars are not new when they say that they are, so in a cartoon it is even more unlikely |

In this episode, Homer bought the car for his dad (Grandpa Simpson) with his share of the money from what The Be Sharps (the band that he was in), made when they were famous. -- Last edit: 2015-04-10 14:31:49 |

Grandpa immediately has a heart attack, falls to the ground and reaches his hand up saying "Gimme the keys!" |
