Ford Cortina GT Mk.II ('Rostyle' wheels). (Not a 1600E because the roof isn't black.)

I'm willing to be convinced? Is it a 1600E? ........now finding out that the vinyl roofs were an option.

Ford Cortina Mk.II 1600E and Ford Cortina GT Mk.II were so similar that only the badging can determine which model it was.

1600E had a flash on the C pillar.

GT had a shield on the rear wing.

It could even be a L or GL (I think at the time) with optional Rostyle wheels.

The 2nd thumbnail shows it doesn't have the GT rear wing badge. With this trim and colour it looks like a 1600E. Nevertheless, it's not possible to see if it has the C-pillar badge or other details of the front and rear ends to be sure.
