Is this listed correctly? Make: Chrysler Model: Dodge Charger R/T |

No. Should be Dodge. Deleting the Chrysler name. And to be honest, it doesn't look like a Charger to me. More like a Dart between '67 and '69. Comments? -- Last edit: 2010-07-13 17:50:10 |

It is based on the American Dart, but this model was built and sold in Brazil as the Dodge Charger R/T. The hideaway headlights were an attempt to adapt Charger styling to the Dart body. You learn something new everyday around here. http://www.moparts.org/moparts/picture/Brazil/img/71charger2.jpg http://www.moparts.org/moparts/picture/Brazil/img/71charger.jpg http://www.moparts.org/moparts/picture/Brazil/Brazil.html |

Did they not sell the us version of the charger as an export? Wondering if this dart based car had all the engine options that the charger(us) had. Maybe a factory hemi dart? |

A long time ago, in military government, the brazil had good cars with powerful engines. The 318 L.A. was used in all "Chrysler do Brasil S.A. cars and tucks", a lot of 318 engines were imported for Bolivia and Venezuela, and on the 80s Volkswagen Trucks in Brazil |
