Looks something American. Buick maybe? Although by looking at the windscreen wipers, it seems to be RHD. |

It could be converted to RHD, which I think would be required for Thailand. There are several companies in Australia and New Zealand that specialise in converting American cars to RHD because of restrictions on registering LHD cars in those countries. -- Last edit: 2010-04-02 18:54:35 |

btw. In what RHD-countries te cars MUST have RHD, only AUS and NZ? In GB and Japan it's not problematical to get a registration for LHD, AFAIK. Otherwise: I remember, that I've seen re-imported LHD-US-cars, classic ones like late 60ies Muscle Cars, in Auckland in 1998. And this one is LHD, too: /vehicle_230173-Chevrolet-Impala-Convertible-1968.html |

IIRC there are some loopholes, for instance New Zealanders who have been living abroad can bring in LHD cars when they return home if they've owned them for a certain amount of time. |

In Thailand, there are no problems to register LHD cars. (LHD cars are also road legal, and they are rare here.) edit : For examples, * Before GM stop Hummer brand, LHD Hummer and RHD Hummer are available (import). * Someone imported 2010 Chevrolet Camaro to Thailand, it is LHD car. * Some classic cars are keeping to LHD (not convert to RHD) -- Last edit: 2010-04-04 18:48:10 |

At first glance it does looks like Cadillac Seville, but it does not ![]() |

Thanks for the correction. I'd thought that LHD cars faced restrictions because most of the cars in films like The Killing Fields or Good Morning, Vietnam, which are set in LHD countries but were filmed in Thailand, are right hand drive. ![]() |

I thought about Daewoo Super Salon. Similar but it doesn't fit. |

Because of no another views of this car in the movie, is it just a sedan, not a limousine? |

Australian Ford LTD, perhaps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ford_ltd_dc_1992.jpg EDIT: Or Fairlane Ghia: /vehicle_161731-Ford-Fairlane-NC-1991.html -- Last edit: 2010-04-02 21:42:17 |

Aussie Ford LTD [DC] seems to fit. -- Last edit: 2010-04-03 02:16:27 |

I agree. The view of this car and its role are tricking me to think it is an American limousine. (No scenes showing any persons get into this car or get out of this car, but not background vehicle, it is showing about some people from USA going to this location.) -- Last edit: 2010-04-04 18:56:46 |
