That's not an '82. It's a '67-'72 per the thin metal bumpers, round rear view mirror and vents under the headlights. In fact this could be a Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Drop Head Coupe, as the Corniche name wasn't used until 1971. |

This car is an early Corniche, which had the larger side marker lights for the US, but still retained tbe steel numpers and the "snow pack" vents under the headlights. It has Corniche wheel covers. Of course, the only way to really tell is by having a look at the facia, as the car could have been dressed as a Corniche with the spun stainless steel wheel covers and even have had a bootlid badge added. Another way would be to see if it has the slightly deeper (by a quarter inch) radiator shell, although I once judged a Corniche fixed head coupe that had a Shadow grille, which left for a rather large gap where the bonnet met the grille! Otherwise, it was a lovely car! |
