Mmmm... I see your point. These look like the flat grey-infilled hubcaps which appeared on several Fords (Cortina Mk3, Taunus TC1, Consul) at mid-trim levels (GL/XL) for 1972+ my (it may even have been 1973my). Is the film date solid?? If it is, the car date would have to become 1971 and the hubcaps remain a puzzle, with these comments left on the page as discussion. Whatever they are, they are not the usual style for a 71 Cortina. |
