402 or 302? ..difficult to say from here. If 402, it could be either a 1936-38 Peugeot 402 Cabriolet Décapotable, ... or unlikely Cabriolet Transformable Electrique'Eclipse' ? |

Didn't the Eclipse have a one-piece screen? I wasn't aware until today that there was a 302 Cabriolet, but this shouted 402 to me as soon as I saw it. |

Yes and No ![]() The first "Eclipse" of 1936 with electrical motion system had a split windscreen identical to the rest of the 402 range and it was based on the same chassis than normal 402 In 1937, production of this first version was stopped and replaced by a Coupé Transformable based on the long chassis of 402L with a mechanical motion system. This version had actually a one-piece whindscreen. Yes the shorter 302 Cabriolet went on production in 1937, then followed by the 402 Légère Cabriolet (same short wheel base) in 1938. Production of both models stopped in 1939. |
