1941 Dodge 1/2 ton WC-9 ambulance converted to panel truck. If it has a winch up front it's a WC-18. |

Dodge man none of the ambulances had winches. They had very minor changes between the 3 models of ambulances. Dodge wc 9 had three production runs coming out with 3 separate looking dodges but 18 and 27 look exactly the same besides the dash. The last production of 9 also looks the same besides having the convoy light mounted to the headlight instead of the fender. I know a lot but not everything about Dodge 1/2 ton ambulances. I should because I own 4 |
