I guess the badge reads GSA Pallas.

In 1980 500 GSA were sold in the GDR, and in 1982 another 5000, all 5500 were Pallas. By the badges this is a 1982 version. They were sold by IFA and cost 38.850 Mark. Only the Volvo 244 DLS was more expensive (42.000 Mark, ca 1000 were sold).
These 1982 GSA were similar to French models, except for a 'longer' 5-speed transmission, a Philips radio and a rear view mirror on the right. I guess the chrome strips next to the license plate are a private accessory.

We have Pallas as part of the model name (not just extra info) for other entries:

On the subject of GSA Pallas in East Germany, we have six just from Polizeiruf 110. :)

And I do not know why

Maybe it is OK for the GDR models, since this was the only version available over there.

It is still the trim name, even if only one available...

OK, I'll change them.

One "made for GDR" Citroen GSA for sale: Link to "cgi.ebay.de"

@DIEHARD, DynaMike: something for you?

Thanks, Ingo! Yes, that would be very nice for me as lover of French cars and German history... But I'm not very glad about all that rust :/

"Fahrerseite Tür links gut ohne Rost"

It's worrying if the seller starts to sum up places that don't have rust.

"kleine halbe cm Rostflecken"... :D It's a wreck. The whole side is rusted away.

Have you seen the last pic? I'm sure, this is not an unique situation there.

Only the car's history could perhaps be a reason to keep the car. "Re Kotflügel ein Euro großes Rostbläschen" - a rust-bubble in the right fender, as big as an 1 €-coin. A bubble, not a hole. If you will pick there with a screwdriver, the hole will be as big as a 50 €-bill. A not folded bill.

Lovely to use the diminutive "Bläschen" - "tiny little bubble" for that. Elegant understatement. :D

Isn't that GSA in the background annother "made for DDR" one:
Link to "einestages.spiegel.de"

This article is about GDR-jokes, the picture an original one from the 80ies, a failed try of escaping from the GDR.

That picture comes up black for me, ingo. Strangely 11 and 13 work.

I always think I'd escape the GDR almost immediately. How hard could it be. :D

And this car has a Rear spoiler, also an accessory

Dear Mr.admin, I beg your pardon for a half off-topic-direction. :D

@DIEHARD, @DonSergioMorello, @DynaMike :hello: Maybe you know, that in 13 days this event will be hold:
http://www.siha.de/tce_uk.php?m=5&ms=1

I just have read, that on Sat and Sun the Citroen-clubs (top floor in 9.1) will have a special guest. Monsieur Robert Opron will be there. And he will bring some clay-models with him.

@chicomarx: at that a restoration-team will start with a remake of the 1963' Erik Carlsson-96.

Is anyone interested to come there? If yes, let me know, maybe we can make the next try of a IMCDB-user-meeting. And maybe I can smuggle someone inside for free. We are back again, as Volkswagen is sponsoring our club with a prestentation-stand (only our club). My friend Mario has some connections.
Yes, we always hold a distance to VW for some reasons, but never look a gift horse in the mouth... ;)

why not just post a link to a forum topic you made, in such case? :p Else you'll also get off-topic replies here

O.k., for your reassurance, I've copied it. ;)

I thought, that it's better to sustain some off topic answers, than to be annoyed later on, because of missing advanced informations about potential interesting catches for the own collection. :p
