Is it a Camaro or a Firebird? I guess a Camaro. And no, Mad Max did not appear in the episode... -- Last edit: 2006-03-07 20:22:27 |

I KNOW it's a Pontiac. Chevrolet Camaros didn't have square quad headlights until 1982, and not on that bodystyle. This Pontiac Firebird had to have been made between 1977 and 1978. |

This model Firebird was built from 1977 to 1979. The "shaker hood" signified the 6.6 liter (403 CID) Oldsmobile engine. Car was also known as the Golden Eagle Trans Am made famous by the Smokey and the Bandit movies. At least that's how i remember them. I had a 1978 Firebird with the dual cowl induction hood and it looked very similar. |

the 6.6 litre could have also been the pontiac 400 w/175 horsepower, not the hi perf T/A 6.6(220hp) |

The car is a 1978 Trans Am, with a highly modified 400, 4-speed. |
