Isn't that a Mini Clubman from the early/mid-70s? |

Certainly looks like it, although the rear is not that of a Clubman Estate. Looks more like a van with side windows which was never fitted to the Clubman front end as far as I remember. Maybe a local product? |

You might be right. Leyland had a car plant in Australia until ca. 1976. |

IIRC it is an Australian product. It has quarter-lights in the front doors; and I believe Oz wagon versions had fixed side windows like this, and possibly Clubman front ends. |

I don't remember Clubmen (Sp?) having outside door hinges either. |

I couldn't find a Clubman wagon, but Australian Clubmen did: Link to "miniclubsa.asn.au" (edit) I just found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtiR8HZhqYY -- Last edit: 2009-07-02 21:57:42 |

From 1971 on all Australian assembled Mini's had the Clubman front end. -- Last edit: 2009-07-07 23:33:42 |
