Hi all the car is not a Panther as they were never made with a louvered bonnet. The car is in fact a 4 door long bodied Beauford kit car. The car is sold by a at Stoke on Trent in the UK. Hope this helps.

A vérifier si... Mais à priori, c'est le même: voitures rétro élaborées à partir de la cellule centrale d'une Austin Mini.

Hi Alexander,

The first link is the makers of Beauford. The car was origionaly desigend by a family man in Appley Bridge, near Wigan in the UK in the 1980's. He designeds the car for his daughter for her wedding day. Early versions of the car are as in the second link that you show. The chassis was matted to the body of an Austin Mini. Later versions have a bespoke fiber glass body mounted on the chassis. The engine installed is dependant on the requirements of the builder. I have seen everything from a 1.6 ford pinto engine up to a 5.3 V12 Jaguar engine. Nice cars that are very big in the wedding trade in the UK.

1933? Weren't these recent cars made to look like old ones, like the Excalibur?

This car reminds me of the Bugatti Royale.

My kit car bible lists roofed ones as named after the number of doors. So Four-Door here. But it's basically a Tourer with a full-length hardtop which may or may not be fixed.

Hi (Hillman) above is spot-on the beauford is like what looks like a 1930s car I have two one soft top one hard top put on to cortina chassis lots are with a pinto engine that's which I have one the other engine is a 2.8 out of a nissan 280z so as you can see they keep up with modern traffic and not much rust

If that looks like a 1930s car I will be found in Shropshire.

Too long for the height, wheels too small, and curved glass in places, it’s more Homer Simpson parody than genuine thirties.

Proper 1930s car, for comparison.

Each to their own, I suppose! Early ones employed many parts of a Mini shell including windscreen frame, doors, and possibly scuttle and floor pan. Not for me, but look on the bright side, John, they were built for some time in Staffordshire......
