Not sure at all
but at first glance I thought of an 1930 Opel Blitz truck.
Could that round badge on the radiator be an "Opel" sign?

Morris-Commercial is correct, but not 'AVO 91' for the model. That's just the numberplate of the truck in the link. ;)

A slightly older version is called 'EA' (Link to "images1.fotopic.net")

Here are two more pictures of the truck in question:

I can help identify this truck. If anyone is interested it is a Morris Commercial C11/30 of 1937. ( C type 11foot wheelbase / 30 cwt ). It has a 3.0 litre 4cylinder sidevalve petrol engine. This truck was meant to have been used by the London Fire Brigade during world war two but I have no proof that it was. I know this as I used to own this vehicle.Hope this is of interest.

Detailed information is always of interest. Even more so when the actual vehicle history is available as in your comments.

Thank you mechanick. :)
