Continuity error; when the Cigar Girl (Maria Grazia Cucinotta) gets into the balloon, the Explorer is facing in the opposite direction (its rear end facing the Millenium Dome) than it is when the balloon takes off. -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 17:57:14 |

1995-1998 model, in XLT trim. |

The Explorer wasn't available in the UK until 1997 (and was discontinued in 2001) and had 3 trim levels, a base model, XLT and North Face. It didn't really take off over here. |

You mean this "North Face" ? (which would be known as "XLT Sport" here in the US) A Welsh Off Road video of a Explorer "North Face" ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDu5NRpaEqs If so, then some European Ford Explorers labeled as "XLT Sport" will have to be renamed. |

I think North Face was a trim level only available in the UK or Europe. I think it was the upper trim level, possibly a tie-in with the North Face outdoor clothing brand (like Eddie Bauer) I don't what US-market trim level it corresponds to. -- Last edit: 2009-06-25 00:42:52 |

Its possible North Face was supposed to be the equivalent of Eddie Bauer ... Would have to have come with all the extra goodies (i.e. real leather trimmed interior, power everything and most electronic options) like the Eddie Bauer did for this generation. Seems Eddie Bauer is not so well known in EU. It appears to use the same colored fender flares and body trim that came on the XLT Sport (Sport Appearance Package) |

I don't know about Europe but we don't have Eddie Bauer in the UK. |

Clearly needs either a 'made for EU' or 'UK' tag. |

Until late 1999 there was only one unnamed trim. Thereafter there was an XLT (from August 1999) and a North Face (from November 1999) available. This early 1999 model should therefore be in the Standard trim. The North Face was a tie-up with a clothing manufacturer. It had a lot of luxury trim as well. |

should be listed as a 1999 4.0 V6, not a 1998 model. |
