From here and now (to me), these cars are not F3 but bigger F2. I've read the location was supposed to be at Avus, according to IMDb. And according to your www.formula2.net there was no F2 races in Avus. So, I'm wondering if the IMDb notation is right.

even noted on Wiki

Quote After 1961, Grand Prix racing did not race on banked circuits anymore. The banked sections at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry etc. were considered dangerous by international racing standards. They were used in connection with chicanes for some time, then abandoned. The AVUS banking was dismantled in 1967 to give way to an expanded intersection under the Funkturm tower. From the top of this tower, one can see that the AVUS is not perfectly straight.
The old banked circuit can be seen in the film A Dandy in Aspic (1968) featuring period racing cars.

All right. So it's the Avus for sure. I'll check the '64 F2 race (René Bonnet! Basis of the Matra team!) and then try to re-watch the pics thinking of the cars as F3.

once the year is determined for sure ID this cars based on race results should be quite easy

Yes, it should be easy.
This is the first line : 6, 25, 5
Second line : 17, 1x, 3. This #3 looks like a Cooper.

Besides, watching the other pics, I change my mind. These cars could well be F3, all right.

Do you read the same numbers as I do, for the two lines, 6 / 25 / 5 then 17 / 1x / 3 ?

:hello: DSL

this is Brabham BT18 in the end,

what caused the confusion is MIS ID of race number, the car in front is no 2 not no 5
