From here and now (to me), these cars are not F3 but bigger F2. I've read the location was supposed to be at Avus, according to IMDb. And according to your www.formula2.net there was no F2 races in Avus. So, I'm wondering if the IMDb notation is right. |

there was a F2 race in 64 http://www.formula2.net/F264_11.htm no 6 Brabham BT10 no 3 DNA (did not arrive) so IMO it was from F3 race !! and this track IS Avus for sure -- Last edit: 2013-10-11 17:45:25 |

even noted on Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVUS |

All right. So it's the Avus for sure. I'll check the '64 F2 race (René Bonnet! Basis of the Matra team!) and then try to re-watch the pics thinking of the cars as F3. |

once the year is determined for sure ID this cars based on race results should be quite easy |
◊ 2013-10-11 19:14 |
Yes, it should be easy. This is the first line : 6, 25, 5 Second line : 17, 1x, 3. This #3 looks like a Cooper. -- Last edit: 2013-10-11 19:17:55 |

if 3 is a Cooper according to 65 results http://www.formula2.net/F365_E32.htm 25 - Brabham BT15 5- Cooper T76 does it fit or it could be different year ? |

in 66 results http://www.formula2.net/F366_E70.htm 25 - Brabham BT15 5 - Brabham BT15 (BUT DNA - did not arrive) so means this footage is from the 65 race !!! -- Last edit: 2013-10-11 19:21:54 |
◊ 2013-10-11 19:22 |
in 67 no 25 DNA !! so I think its confirmed fully Didier you need to rely on the 65 race results ! in 64 there is NO no 25 listed http://www.formula2.net/F364_E27.htm -- Last edit: 2013-10-11 19:25:02 |

Besides, watching the other pics, I change my mind. These cars could well be F3, all right. Do you read the same numbers as I do, for the two lines, 6 / 25 / 5 then 17 / 1x / 3 ? |
◊ 2013-10-11 19:36 |
for rigth side yes for the left side only 3 not quite sure about the others here another test , you agree this is Brabham BT 16 , the race winner like list suggest or you have doubts about being BT16 ?? /vehicle.php?id=224751 -- Last edit: 2013-10-11 19:37:07 |

well I rechecked everything, this must be the 66 race footage no 6 was a Brabham BT18 - Ford simply in 1965 there was NO no 6 car on the grid -- Last edit: 2014-01-27 16:02:50 |

DSL this is Brabham BT18 in the end, what caused the confusion is MIS ID of race number, the car in front is no 2 not no 5 -- Last edit: 2014-01-28 22:24:00 |
