It's not a Guy, it's a Seddon, probably from the 50s.

Well it says "Guy" on the grille, unless this is a different truck, in which it's a blooper.

It's a blooper, then. The radiator's completely different: the main picture's certainly a Seddon.

Registered as 'GNK 983' about 1946-1947 I believe so earlier than Mk.V therefore possibly Mk. IV or before?

A post war Mk.IV or Mk.V appears likely but good information looks scarce compounded by this Mk.V? (not Mk 5) during wartime https://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p791469481/h2e24724a#h2e24724a

Oldham factory opened in November 1946 so this was built at Preston works.
