Maybe Saab, that would explain why I found it interesting  I was not really sure what it could be, knowing this was North-America  Indeed it reminded me the Lancia (which is close to the Saab anyway) |

It could be a diplomat's car. When I visited New York in 1995, I saw a (European) Ford Escort with diplomatic plates outside the office of the Austrian delegation to the UN. It was pretty old, so I wondered why the owner bothered to have it shipped around the world. |

100 % Lancia Thema (appears a 2ns series for the back red light) and not confuse it with a Saab9000 (which use the same car frame created in Lancia Spa in late 70s only modified in back suspension a more simple sistem with rigid axle insted the better and more expensive Lancia system "multilink" with double axis (the same used in Lancia Delta Integrale, Alfa 156,147 and before created in Lancia forr the Lancia Beta and copied over the years for many car builders aroun the world, japanese in particular) Same car frame of Thema had then been used for Fiat Croma and alfa 164 |
