Hmm, XJ12 Vanden Plas, is that right? Should it be just Vanden Plas (maybe with 6.0 V12 in the comments)? |

This MotorWeek segment is available on YouTube, and the car is definitely a 1996 Jaguar Vanden Plas (X300). (The engine is shown, and it's the AJ16 inline-six, not the V12.) In the North American market, both "XJ12" and "Vanden Plas" are X300 models, and they're mutually exclusive. There's no such thing as an "XJ12 Vanden Plas". Furthermore, the X305 model code only applies to the XJ12, so this car simply has the code X300. -- Last edit: 2011-11-17 15:12:17 |
