I think the only 4 door sedans were Dodge Coronets. |

Paying attention to fourth thumbnail we can see, before the rear wheel, a cromed area where the fender begins and the red arrow shows This cromed we can't see it in 1949 Meadobrook as here it showed http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00071451 and yes in the Coronets http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00073158 . The problem is that also looks a 1949 Kingsway http://www.cardatabase.net/search/photo_search.php?id=00104682 but I don't "see" a Kingsway as Police Car. |

1949 Dodge Coronet 4 door Town Sedan ( model D-30).Dodge Meadowbrooks had no rear fender stone guard and Dodge Kingsways were export models only , not sold in the US and were built on the shorter Plymouth base. |

Nope, the Wayfarer had a shorter wheelbase and was not available as 4-door sedan... See also the comments by Vilero and Pilou... |

THIS IS A 1949 DODGE CORONET. THE BACK WINDOW HAS CHROME TRIM AND IT HAS CHROME ROCK GUARDS. THE MEDOWBRO0K DOES NOT. |
