1964-66, and I imagine either a 3000 or 3500. |

@Elmer. Does this need C/K in front of it? Or were these merely called 3500? |

For the first generation of C-Series, there was no C in the GMC names nor in the model codes, but 4x4 models used the K prefix. The model names were: ½-ton: 1000 / K-1000 ¾-ton: 1500 / K-1500 1-ton: 2500 (no 4WD model) ... But the IMCDb habit is to call them C-Series when the accurate model can't be identified. Due to the dual rear wheels and the wheel rim shape, this one is a 1-ton truck, i.e. a 2500: a medium-duty(*) would have different front fenders and front face. And as GMC, in the grille, uses the 1960-65 round letters, the 1964+ windshield makes it a 1964-65 model. _____ *: 2-ton 3500 to 2½-ton 5000. There was no 1½-ton 3000 model after 1962. -- Last edit: 2019-11-14 05:27:36 |
