chris40 wrote Ebro had manufactured the earlier Thames ET6 under licence as the B35/45 with little alteration. When the Trader replaced the ET6 in 1957 Ebro made a substantially different version (which may have been designed by Ford UK). For instance, C-series Ebros had the front axle set further forward than the Trader's, and Ford UK's smaller versions were normal, not forward control, based on the German FK series.
