Interesting! Just heard of an Angguna until now. Yes, first Jetstar in the site; for my overseas users, this is essentially an Indonesian version of the fourth generation Minicab with a Daihatsu engine. |

Indeed RushCars24ID, I vouch that comment .gif ":)") Yes, the Jetstar was the Indonesian version of the 4th gen Minicab with a slightly larger body and a much bigger Daihatsu engine. In 1985, the government dictated that all vehicles built in the country must have a minimum capacity of 1.0 litre. Mitsubishi at the moment in time did not have a 1000cc engine, their smallest was the 550cc 2G23 engine from the 3rd and 4th generation Minicab. This created a massive hole in the Mitsubishi engine range because it directly jumped into the 1400cc class with the Lancer SL, Colt T120 and the very early model Colt L300. Mitsubishi made a deal before the Jetstar's launch with Daihatsu to supply them with the 1.0L CB engine, and this engine remained in the Jetstar until it was discontinued in 1991 when the Colt T120SS made its debut in the country with the 4G17 engine. For Daihatsu, the Hijet Zebra 1.0L became a Daihatsu Zebra in October 1989 along with the introduction of the 1.3L HC engine. And also, the majority of the anggunas in Surabaya are Jetstars and here's what one looks like nowadays.
