[S65] only here. Might going to say 1982 but Mobil Motor Lama says that 1980 was the first model year for these. Guess I got contradicted...? Looks Custom Made Van body. These were once only sold here as chassis cabs, mainly pickup trucks. EDIT: Nope, that's an [S70P] by that front fascia, not an [S65], which came at least for 1983 or 1984. Sources here is an absolute mixedbag, such as Mobil Motor Lama's post of the prior generation before this one, this following video, and Wikpedia Indonesia. Video link mentions November 1983 being the start of the Indonesian S70 series production, but don't find a latter model year makes sense because it was confirmed these were actually carried frame numbers instead of VINs. -- Last edit: 2025-08-26 10:37:48 |

Correct RushCars, this is an early 1983-1985 Hijet [S70P] 1000 with the black grille and Hijet sticker on the left side of the car. 85+ cars had the silver grille with the vents on the right side of the car. S65P would've been reserved for the locally built version of the Hijet 55 Wide. |
