I don't think this is a Fuso. The buses they delivered to Toei in the 1970s were either bodied by themselves or by Kureha, and their headlight bezels were quite specific. https://toeibus.com/archives/1593 Rummaging through that website, the most likely matches are the 1972 Nissan Diesels at the bottom of this page - the ones with a slanted windscreen. https://toeibus.com/archives/1606 But it could be older than that, as Toeibus.com doesn't go further in time than 1972. -- Last edit: 2025-03-26 12:30:50 |

Given the "1866" number, I suspect it's Z632 which wore the license plate 練馬22か1866 towards the end of its career (which would've beena round when the movie was filmed: https://toeibus.com/archives/17493 This confirms 1972.
