I'm not sure that Morris-Commercial is right. Fifty year old memories say that the car derived smaller vehicles were called Morris, and then one ton upwards was Morris-Commercial. However the J van was called M-C. |

I know there have been discussions before about the use of Morris or Morris-Commercial for vans and trucks. I suggest we use as a base the listing in the International Alliance of Morris Owners here... http://www.iamo.org.uk/commdirectory.htm Car derived vans and similar have been listed as 'Morris', with others as 'Morris-Commercial'. Try looking at the wheels. There are two different models of van, pre-war and post war. The pre-war maroon one can have wire wheels and has a grille like a Series 1 Morris Ten with the centre strip sometimes missing, and the Y type van has pressed steel wheels and a tin grille with horizontal stripes.
