No, I think it's a Ford V8: look at the hubcaps. The 1938 Austin 12 was less curvy at the rear, and the '39 wore its number-plate below the boot-lid. |

Ford V8-78 or V8-81. Can't be a 1938 Austin with faired in headlamps, they were always mounted seperately on top of the front mudguards until the Devon in 1947. |

Those wheels and hubcaps were bothering me.... I didn't notice the missing headlamps... I must be having a bad time ... I need to wake up I think. |
