Most military light trucks of this kind had a high tarpaulin top and a raised roof. These were known as the Peugeot DK 5 J (D 5 A). I don't know if this flat roofed version has the same or a different name. |

I think I was going by this: /vehicle_80386-Peugeot-DK-5.html . True, the tilt is different, but the cab appears similar. I agree (after some furious Googling) that the high cab roof version (called variously DK 5, DK 5 J and D 5 A) seems to be more common, but they seem to have a weld on the A-pillar which suggests they weren't always like that! |

I think most if not all the DK 5 that we have listed should be DK 5 J. According to some of Jean-Pierre's comments the J is used for double wheels on the rear axle. D 5 A could be a chassis code. Who knows more about these trucks? |
