Larger taillight design - 1962/67. Flatten hubcap design - 1965 or later. Old style headlight design - up to 1966. Has European bumper design. That narrows down to 1965/66. Comment? |

DAF555 is right with 1967: the 1200 ("Sparkäfer" = economy beetle) was introduced on 10 January 1967, the earlier economy versions didn't have this engine lid. The vertical headlights were introduced on 1 Augustus 1967 (so M.Y. 1968). |
