Some other pictures , but I'm not convinced they belong to the same bus. Have a look of the 2 last rear side-windows on the énd thumnail od this serie of pics. There are likely different than the 2 smalls equivalent windows of the PD2. So it's another type. |

The main shot is Blackburn 97 - I believe that's Crossley bodywork. The rears are of Blackburn 138 (CBV138) a Guy Arab IV with Crossley body, although the film has glimpses of sister vehicle 130 (CBV130). The interior is Blackburn 149 (HCB149) a Guy Arab IV with East Lancs body .......so perhaps these are worthy of a separate entry? -- Last edit: 2008-05-11 01:06:24 |

In the 3rd thumbnail, the bus on the left is different. yes its different, the bus in question is a Crossley Bodied Leyland titan PD2/22 new in 1955 one of two delivered to Darwen Corporation either no. 14 WTB 166 or no. 15 WTB 167 is there any shots showing at least the last digit of the reg to confirm which one it is |
