Here we have a small anachronism unfortunately. In this scene Enzo Ferrari is telling journalists that he found a new canadian driver (Gilles Villeneuve) to replace the Nikki Lauda - this was in the 1977.

why all the other models like this in the site are named "512 BBi" rather than 512i BB? Although I've always heard about the first one, but not 512i BB. However, it seems that some call it like that too.
By the way, if i haven't understood that anachronism badly, I think that if that was in 1977, this model should be a 512 BB, which was replaced by the 512i or BBi in 1982, and there wouldn't be any wrong data.

I would also like to know why they are listed as BBi, maybe there is a reason, but my question remains without answer -> /vehicle_45652-Ferrari-512-BBi-1982.html (Badge says "BB 512i").

There is no need to change any years - simply the scene is set in 1977 and the car is post 1981, as it is not just "512 BB", but the "i" model.

Again like on the badge, anyway the "i" is next to the number.
