More likely an Escort commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1978_Ford_Escort_1.1L_(15648512326).jpg , but with the shiny bit in the radiator grille painted black (or removed). -- Last edit: 2022-10-14 12:58:46 |

Very late Mk2 Escorts went to all-black grille from Oct 78, with L and all higher models having square lights. Only Popular and Popular Plus kept round ones. Popular stayed with black bumpers, but Popular Plus may have gone to chrome at this point and did get doubled side coachline as possibly visible here. So 79-80 Popular Plus my best guess. |
