The script on the radiator shell would be visible if it wasn't for that plate... well, it starts with "The" at least.. Nevermind, it's FWD and the script says "The Four Wheel Drive Auto Co." http://www.landships.info/landships/softskin_articles/FWD_Model_B.html So, I suppose the first batch of FWD's were manufactured in 1916 for the Mexican campaign, but in 1917, during the WWI, they began to mass-produce it.
