This is not a Grumman LLV; it's the LLV's replacement. From what I can find, the LLV has ceased production because GM stopped making the Chevrolet S-10 pickup, which shared its chassis with the LLV. This appears to be the first one on the site, so we should probably figure out what to call it. On the National Postal Museum's website they call it the Ford FFV (Flexible Fuel Vehicle; it can run on 85% ethanol fuel), although the picture they have comes from Utilimaster, who builds it. So, Ford FFV, Utilimaster FFV, or Ford-Utilimaster FFV? I vote for Ford FFV. Comments? http://www.postalmuseum.si.edu/exhibits/2c3a_6_FFV.html |
