1992+ 626. I don't know what the US got as a successor, but in Europe we got a new 626 in 1997.

They had the 626 until 2002 in the US, too. 1998-02 NA-spec models looks a bit different in between the EU and JDM versions.

No. The Millenia was a different model by Mazda and had another taillights.

I find this version very nice. I prefer it a lot to the hatchback version which is good, too.

The Millenia was supposed to be one of the cars for Mazda's proposed luxury brand, Amati. It was supposed to be Mazda's Lexus. But a recession hit in 1991, so plans got scrapped and the model became the Eunos 800 for Japan/Australia, Xedos 9 for Europe and Millenia for North America.

The GF 626 that was sold in North America was exclusive to the market and all were made at the Flat Rock plant in Michigan. They were wider and longer than the International version. It also had softer suspension, so it was less sporty but more luxurious than the GE.
