I'd say it's an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS by Farina or Pininfarina. Link to "commons.wikimedia.org" although they seems to have removed the two chromed bars below the headlights and replaced the headlights at some point. https://www.flickriver.com/photos/148195721@N02/48819365426/ However, Farina must have made a number of them during several years, all hand built, where small details varied between specific cars. I haven't found the one I have in a book (Alfa Romeo - Milano, by Michael Frostick, 1974), but that had different wheels, non split windscreen and didn't have a chromed strip between the two protrutions (with chrome strips) above the front bumper. When having looked around on the net for a while, I've seen ones as early as at least 1948, perhaps even 1947, and at least as late as 1952.
