London, April 1937. Either a “cherished” number plate, or the car is older than originally thought. Is there a clear enough view of the bonnet to see if there are louvres or opening panels? I think you are looking the right way. There were fewer prewar cars, and the colour of this example does suggest a later car, I think. |
