Mercedes-Benz C-Class [W203] |
◊ 2021-07-27 01:01 |
Are you sure this is a C-klasse? The taillights look right, but the angle of the rear glass looks too steep. Also, the trunk looks too small; and there is no antenna at the top of the glass. |

Kiwi-spec Ford Mondeo, maybe? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mondeo_(second_generation) -- Last edit: 2021-07-27 01:21:10 |

shape of the rear door doesn't seems to fit either... Australian car ? ( Holden or Ford Australia product ) |

I don't think it's a Ford Mondeo either. The taillights have a similar pattern, but the Mondeo's lights jut out farther down the side of the car than this vehicle. Also, the shape of the door is off. |

Its something Corolla sized I think. Too small to be a Falcon/Commodore |

marioman is correct. It's a 2000-04 Corolla [E120]. Maybe Made for J if this was filmed in NZ? |

any special version ? i find a lot of Corolla i never heard of but can't find any with those specific tail lights ( unless aftermarket ? ) |

Those are genuine... in fact I did some more digging and those tail lights in fact narrow it down to Sept 2002 to April 2004. |

It may not be a "Made for Japan" model. Here's one I found for sale, looks like a NZ model with the same taillights: https://www.turners.co.nz/Cars/Used-Cars-for-Sale/toyota/corolla/22008992 https://www.autotrader.co.nz/used-cars-for-sale/toyota-corolla/246951/ https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/toyota/corolla/listing/3196000534 https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/toyota/corolla/listing/3092389941 -- Last edit: 2021-07-27 07:24:37 |

but none has that fine red line on the clear part ( this said, i found only one, with a russian plate that did not fit that well... ) found a few here https://www.theparking.eu/used-cars/toyota-corolla-e120.html checking this out.. looks like those tail lights are only with the 1.5 engine... or is it only a year matter ? -- Last edit: 2021-07-27 07:50:36 |

I Carjam'd that Corolla's plate and it showed that it had Japanese VINs. -- Last edit: 2021-07-27 11:01:30 |

I found 2 Corollas in the NZ gallery of Platesmania with that tail lights and both had post-import VINs that would be issued for Japanese cars which don't have the 17-digit VINs. http://platesmania.com/nz/nomer16299633 http://platesmania.com/nz/nomer16960339 -- Last edit: 2021-07-28 14:50:13 |
