CLN 147 is another duff plate. Issued London, Jan-Feb 1936. Series II?? -- Last edit: 2021-06-23 00:35:43 |

Looks like Series II to me Late model MM series: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Morris_Minor_MM_(1951)_-_14404051008.jpg Series II: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Morris-Minor--Series--II--w.jpg |

Morris Minor S2. It has the S2 bonnet ornament. If you found a side valve engine under that bonnet it would be a Series MM with the wrong bonnet, but based upon what can be seen you should find the incredibly weedy 803cc ohv Austin offering so I’d support S2. Horrible thing, gutless fragile engine, weak gearbox almost devoid of synchromesh after 10k miles, and the far from durable A30 back axle. The 1000 was a much better job. I am suspicious of that front windscreen, it looks more like a 1000 with a spurious division, is there a good view of the back wing? -- Last edit: 2021-06-21 21:43:58 |

Not really due to the sloppy focus. But try these They look OK to me for earlier cutaway wing. I'm happy with S2 idea. |
