étrange, je vois bien que c'est marqué dessus, mais il à une drole de bouille pour un berliet, j'aurais plutot vu un willème ou un daf...mystère |

assez "britiche" comme style, et je ne serais pas étonné que ce soit un camion anglais rebadgé Willeme à la faveur d'un rapprochement avec un constructeur anglais (ou US) à la fin de cette marque...ensuite le badge SAVIEM est venu par le rachat de Willème par SAVIEM... mais tout cela est assez confus et mérite des recherches |

C'est bien un camion anglais, BMC F140 , badgé MORRIS dans certains cas...je ne m'explique pas le lien avec SAVIEM...mystère |

Il s 'agit d'un AUSTIN ou MORRIS car vendu sous les 2 marques de la série F qui étaient commercialisés en France durant les années 60 par WILLEME,lié au groupe BMC par des accords de distribution et technique.Ainsi les camions WILLEME de cette période avaient des moteurs AEC en option. Pourquoi ce véhicule est il badgé SAVIEM,cela restera sans doute un mystére des agents chargés du matériel du film? |

Pour mm, le VW badgé PETERBILT n' est pas une erreur puique dans les années 80,un accord de distribution liait VW et le groupe PACCAR qui vendait cette gamme de petits porteurs aux US et CANADA sous ses 2 marques KENWORTH et PETERBILT. |

The 'Saviem' label is misleading. It is in fact a Willème-B.M.C. B.M.C. (often written 'BMC') took control of Willème in 1962 and produced under the name Willème-B.M.C. This model is based on the Morris FH (1961-64) or its twin the Austin 45. Therefore we can assume that the French produced equivalent was made between 1962 and 64. |

In the UK, this grille was used throughout 1959-64 on both FF and FH 5-ton Austin forward control truck applications and the rectangular Austin/Morris grille was reserved for the 7-ton truck.
