Jaguar or SS? |

EFC, Oxford County Borough, 1/37 to 4/37. SS, at that date. Was called Jaguar, but that was more like a model name, the firm was still SS Cars. Separate sidelights so 1 1/2 litre. -- Last edit: 2021-05-09 13:12:10 |

I believe it is a 6 cylinder, with built-in painted sidelights, not chromed. The main reasons I point so is the height of tire in the side mount and the larger dimeter of headlights, which seems to me as P100s. |

I think that you may be right. I do all this on an iPad, the images aren’t that big, and I did wonder about the headlights, but they are a relatively easy thing to change. So 2 1/2 litre then, the big 3 1/2 litre engine was not offered on this model. |

I am watching the movie now. There is a scene with the car sideways, and the sidelights are very clear, painted. So we agree on 2 1/2 Litre. Unfortunately, the car was lost at the end, together with the lady driver. Movie directors should be severely punished. -- Last edit: 2021-05-09 15:51:02 |

I have just come in from chopping wood! The car was probably only worth about £200, so no doubt they thought that they could lose it. -- Last edit: 2021-05-09 17:09:53 |
