Can anyone explain why this is thought to be a Bentley? |

Yeah, probability doesn't really side with that. |

It now seems to be a SS 1 LWB. I think it’s a Wraith II. It has the Everflex roof and small rear window. -- Last edit: 2021-01-26 22:33:51 |

All LWBs had that, chrome bumpers rule out a S2 model: www.rrsilvershadow.com/EMod/Silver%20Shadow%20LWB.htm www.rrsilvershadow.com/EMod/Silver%20Wraith%20II.htm That site also demonstrates how unlikely it is to be a Bentley, they give a production figure of 9 for the LWB Bentley T (as oppposed to 2,772 LWB Silver Shadows). |

OK. At least 1 of the Bentleys (both series) had a full size rear window. I was not aware of the chrome bumpers. -- Last edit: 2021-01-26 23:20:44 |

Not all LWB Shadows and T's had the Everflex roof with the smaller rear window. It marks the car as a Silver Shadow LWB with division, most LWB cars withhout were available as specified. |
