C'est une Subaru des années 80. Au Japon, elle s'appelait Leone, en Europe, elle n'avait pas de nom. On disait hatchback ou coupé, je ne sais plus. Le problème, c'est qu'en Russie, on trouve autant de versions européennes que japonaises... |

I found some russian, czech and hungarian sites where they use the Leone name, so maybe in west-europa and russian the "Leone" name was used? |

Well, no. Because in the 80's, "western" cars were simply not available in Eastern Europe. It's only after the fall of the Iron Curtain that second-hand cars began to be exported there. -- Last edit: 2005-12-11 14:52:13 |

That era of Subaru are known as the Leone in New Zealand and Austrailia |

In the US and Canada that model was known as the "Loyale". |

A sidenote: up until 1989, Loyale wasn't a name Subaru used in the US. The trims were DL, GL, and GL-10. This body style was renamed "Loyale" in 1989/90. |
