Israel had a traditional link with Ford UK since local assembly of Mk1 Escort, which meant that their TC3s were Cortina-badged instead of Taunus, creating very rare/unique permutation of European-made LHD Cortina Mk5 (Altaya model from Police Cars of the World partwork series)
