BTW, it's not the same as the one alredy listed, this one has the "gran touring" package and 16" wheels. |

It's the european model larger folding mirrors, flat hood ornament, amber flasher lenses and the front side markers moved from "below the cornering lights" to "behind the front wheels". |

Which means that they're not side markers but side indicator (turn signal) repeaters. Note also the German number plate frame. -- Last edit: 2007-12-02 13:31:17 |

Here, the side markers are also turn signal repeaters (they stay on when the parking lights are on and the flashers aren't used and they blink when the flashers are used no matter if the headlights or parking lights are turned on or off) do you mean those un european cars don't illuminate when the parking lights are turned on? |

Here in Europe, indicator repeaters are just indicator repeaters. Some recent Volvos and Jaguars (designed under Ford ownership) have separate amber sidemarkers, but I assume that's because Ford wanted to minimise the differences between European and North American versions. |

About this scene being filmed in Europe: The plane can be seen also from a different angle, and the "N" (international aircraft code for USA) seems to have been taped over a European aircraft number (possibly F, D, G or something else). -- Last edit: 2016-12-23 12:26:31 (walter) |
