dsl wrote McQueen's own 1969 Porsche 908K “Flunder” Spyder (chassis 908-022) in which he and Revson finished 2nd in the 1970 Sebring 12 Hours. This was later repainted and fitted with cameras to run in the 1970 Le Mans 24 hrs to capture footage for his film
